(SOLVED) Persistent rules

Post by kimmoli »

Seems that update overwrites the AppData\Roaming\ZofzPCB\CAM_Load_Rules.txt

Could it be either not overwritten, or separate the user rules to another file which persists over update? (Luckily i had pasted my rules to another post in this forum :? )

And btw, where the control panel disappeared on last update to 2.0.1.0 ??
EDIT: It wasn't visible on first start after update, from installer, now it works fine.

Sorry, I was already told about this and I forgot.

I will move this topic to the BUG section.

I can check with InstallShield options if it is possible to make a backup during installation.

What version of windows do you have? 11?
And the language?
It might be related to some works on a German UI

Yes, sorry. I have switched to a new installer - a bit unclear configuration options.
I think I got it right now. I have published 3.1.1, also adding a "restore" button near the rules-edit button.
